Artist statement
We are a collaborative team working in the area of the inarticulate-rupture that exists between image, sound and theory. The work Blanks, deals with the convergence between Arakawa and Gins and Lyotard. It uses image and sound to perform two texts and the blanks between them. One is by Arakwa and Gins from1985 discussing the Blank and its relation to the subject. The other by Lyotard deals with the differend, the silence or blank between incommensurate discourses.
